I am not going to go into much detail hear as I don't like having work discussions on the WWW, but this is a bit disturbing.
I am quite certain there will be appeals and other cases and all sorts of things I don't understand, but for now, just questions I guess.

Wow! You have to hate it when that happens. Having been through several mergers, you would always like for them to go smoothly. That being said, it appears that Verizon Business did this sort of thing to Bell Industries when the sold off their paging division SkyTel. They "cooked the books" to make SkyTel look like the "Golden Child", when in fact they were the "red headed step child" as far as Verizon Business was concerned.
The realization of these facts spurred many personnel reductions that have now crippled SkyTel at this point in their career. Verizon was able to keep these facts under wraps until the merger was complete. Bell Industries is too small to fight them and I now question their existence in the future.
Lot's of luck in the mud slinging, because that is where this one is headed.
